What is Design?

The design is the whole or a part of a product or whole of various aspects or characteristics perceived with human senses such as ornamentation of the product, line, shape, form, color, fiber, material or flexibility.

Within the design registration system, a design may be only protected provided that it has the requirements of ‘’novelty’’ and ‘’distinctive quality’’.

Novelty: refers that same one of a design has not be offered to the public anywhere in the world before the of application or priority,

Distinctive Quality: refers that there is a distinctive difference between the general impression that a design has created on informed user and general impression that any design has created on such as user.

The outer views of all products manufactured in industrially and manually have been taken under protection with design registration. For example; the product packages, the patterns on the packages, fabric patterns, models of confection products, furniture models, machine designs, vehicle designs and spare parts of vehicles may be taken under protection with design registration.
